The visit will begin with a 30 minute information session followed by a 1 1/2 hour walking tour of campus.

Please note there may be other schools attending the information session and tour you are requesting to attend.  Due to previous reservations, space constraints, and staffing availability we may be unable to accommodate all requests.

If you are interested in scheduling a group visit for more than two months after today's date, the schedule may not yet be available.

In order to ensure your visit runs smoothly and is of the highest caliber, the following visitation guidelines have been established.

For your visit to be requested, you must read and agree to each of the following statements.
I understand that if we are late or fail to show up without notifying your office, we may be charged $25.00 per scheduled tour guide.
I understand that if our group arrives late tour guides may only be available for the time allotted of 1.5 hours per tour starting from the original tour time.   Our tour guides are students and volunteer to provide tours around their class schedules. We will also provide campus maps for a self-guided tour so you may continue exploring campus.
JMU reserves the right to change my schedule if my group arrives late.
I have provided an accurate head count for all visitors (students and chaperones), and will notify JMU of any and all head count changes at least 2 business days before our scheduled visit.
At least one chaperone is required for every 10 students with a minimum of two chaperones per group.
Student information cards (that were included in the confirmation packet) will be filled out PRIOR to arrival on campus.
Chaperones must stay with their group at all times and react to/correct any disruptive behavior from the students (including the use of MP3 Players, iPods, cell phones or other electronic devices while in the session or on tour).
JMU reserves the right to terminate a visit and/or refuse future visits if inappropriate behavior occurs while your group is on campus.

Our group understands that the JMU campus is a place of study and a home to our students and will be respectful of JMU  students and their living and study spaces.

I understand that JMU may divide my group into smaller groups in order to provide the best tour possible.
Meals are not included in the visit. If my group would like to eat on campus in a JMU dining facility, I will contact University Dining Services at 540-568-6751 for pricing or to schedule a meal.
